Understanding your timing and your goals is an important first step. Let's talk about the condition of your boat, how to present it best, value it fairly and market it well. I also want to know how involved you'd like to be and determine the best way for us to communicate with each other throughout the process.
We'll go to work on identifying comparable sales, determining a value and creating a marketing plan for your boat. We'll work with you to learn all we can about your boat, identify opportunities to improve the condition and make sure it is prepared and presented well. In the eyes of a buyer, 'first impressions' matter.
We'll handle the logistics of working with potential buyers and arranging showings with those who'd like to come take a look. We'll get there ahead of time, open it up, make sure it shows well...and then follow up with you so you're not left wondering how it went.
Aligning the interests of buyer and seller is key to closing the deal. It often requires candid discussions with both sides and sometimes a little creative thinking in order to structure an agreement that works well for all.
If a survey is needed, we'll be involved at every step. We'll review the results, discuss findings and determine how they might impact value. This is the step that extends the process the most...let's discuss our ideas for speeding things up.
